The objective of an iron fitting is to ascertain how your current club is performing and evaluate the strike tendencies with your current irons to ultimately improve performance. We want to maximise yardage, optimise ball flight and increase accuracy within your fitting session as well as maintaining the correct numbers for launch and spin and land angles. As iron play is about consistency, we need to make sure that the club we give you performs similarly every time to give you the best chance at hitting the most repeatable golf shots.

We will always give you our honest opinion on your equipment and as we are accredited custom fitters for all 9 of the games major brands, there will be no stone left unturned in finding the correct combination for you. Whether you are a beginner golfer looking to improve or a scratch player aiming to get as good as you can, we cater to all ages, genders and abilities.

During your iron custom fitting session, our expert Custom Fitting Specialists will talk you through the process and what we are trying to achieve. This will be based on the Trackman numbers that we will see after you have initially hit your current irons. With their being such variety between iron sets we will discuss and test all different and suitable head types from game improvement irons, forged iron sets and we even have a large selection of bladed irons for the elite golfers. With iron sets being one of the largest purchases an aspiring golfer will make, we will make 100% sure that the club you’re fitted for is the right one for you. We will even look at your impact conditions and strike locations to explain your impact tendencies and your ball flight dynamics.

As well as looking at different head types, we will analyse the shaft profiles you will need to provide your optimal numbers using our Trackman 4 technology. Additionally, we will find you the correct length, loft and lie angle that you need for your irons. This will allow you to to be able to hit your optimal golf shots with your custom fitted set of irons.
