Wedge fitting is arguably one of the most integral areas of custom fitting and is usually the least fit area of the bag. Choosing the correct wedge set up, lie angle, bounce and grind options are integral to hitting consistent spinning wedge shots that create opportunities to make birdies and save pars. As wedges are the most finesse club in the bag they need to be adaptable and give you the confidence to play multiple types of shots.

The objective of a wedge fitting, is to find the optimal custom fit wedge set up, that you hit best and most consistently to different yardages within the fitting session. We will get you hitting pitch shots to certain yardages with all different heads and bounces out on the grass practice area. We do this to be able to understand your strike patterns and tendencies and your divot patterns. We will do this using our trackman 4 technology to be get all your ball striking and shot data. We will look at your launch angles, spin rates, dispersion and then get you inside to hit full shots with all the different heads to find the one for you. This will allow us to fit you for the best custom wedges you could ask for!

We tend to find that many people have bought wedges straight from the shelf, with stock shafts and lie angles. For some people this will work however for the majority of golfers, they will need a different lie angle and a different shaft to provide optimal performance. Because of this, we will try a multitude of shafts and other combinations to find you the best custom fit wedges that will enhance your scoring potential, reduce your handicap and play better golf.
